Allen After Dark

Allen re-examines the rights of Trans-Americans and the lies conservatives present as truths to justify the introduction of outrageous laws. In a lighter segment he considers the reasons someone might alter the tone of their voice, new UFO information from the government and why conspiracy theorists are more likely to believe lies rather than the truth.

Allen has a few choice words for conservatives regarding their anti-pride attitudes, recalling the old days with gay bashing conservatives after an encounter with a confederate flag wearing a-hole.

Allen takes his annual mid-life crisis look at being unattractive and how the world views people based on their physical appearance. 

Allen takes an honest and tough look at his past experiences involving men living with HIV/AIDS and how gay men have been treated through out the history of the virus.  He takes into consideration this experience to discuss STDs and the importance of testing and treatment.

In anticipation of the coming blue moon, Allen reflects on the effect that a full moon has on people. A goth kid seeks acceptance at happy hour and another gay republican has to face facts when shown proof that he wants to deny. Allen decides to wade into the good, the bad and the ugly of "May-December" relationships. 

A very uncomfortable ogling incident on an elevator reminds Allen of the experiences that women have to endure on a daily basis. Taking a trip back in time, Allen reflects on the joy he experienced when going to his favorite gay dance club. As always, the "male ego" has to interfere with the discussion once again.

An unpleasant encounter with a bible beater kicks off this week's episode, leading to a discussion about relationships and certain gay men that love to cause drama. 

Allen takes a trip back in time to his high school days and some of the guys that excited him for a very specific reason.  He also muses over how an "act your age" point of view should be interpreted.

With high inflation and global conflicts raging, a frustrated Allen takes a look at several issues including the struggles average people are having while living in a material world. He considers his options if the only jobs available were coal mining or adult entertainment and wonders if people look at him as a dirty old man.

Allen has a few choice words for Caitlyn Jenner before considering the positive aspects of self-checkout in retail stores and the upsides of hookup apps. Feeling sentimental, Allen recalls his first time in a gay club and the sense of freedom as a result of that first experience.
